There's enough volume even without a petticoat and enough fabric to twirl! For extra volume and an authentic 1950s look, simply add a petticoat underneath. It's up to you how "retro" you want your look to be today.
The no-fuss attitude is important here: the stretchy cotton fabric is comfortable to wear and is, of course, machine-washable. Still, the fabric doesn't feel heavy – perfect for cooler days, when summer skirts are starting to feel a bit too light but you’re not quite ready for thick winter fabrics yet. A matching fabric belt is included, which you can tie into a pretty bow – or remove it and replace it with a narrow belt of your choice.
And who says autumn fashion has to be dark? The checked pattern in turquoise, dark blue and black will brighten up grey autumn days. Pair the skirt with an elegant vintage-style blouse or a cosy cardigan, tights and ankle boots for an autumn stroll or a cosy afternoon tea with your best friend.
