The "New Woman" of the 1920s wanted all the rights men had - including the right wear items straight out of their wardrobe! This vintage style ladies' suit waistcoat "The Watchmaker's Waistcoat Midnight & Ivory Tweed" by Emmy is inspired by classic men's waistcoats from the late Victorian era to the 1930s, but the fit is adjusted to fit the female body with a nipped-in waist. Deep V-neckline with classic collar, single row of buttons and faux pockets in front. Made of dark blue melange herringbone tweed and lined with dark blue dotted cotton poplin, this exquisite piece is great for an androgynous look with wide leg trousers, a crisp shirt and a tie, or wear it suffragette-style with a vintage style blouse and narrow skirt - this waistcoat lets you recreate authentic vintage looks from the first half of the 20th century.
